Hi! I’m Damiana — born and raised in Portugal 42 years ago, and currently living my best second life as a tattoo artist… and a full-on nerd (no shame, ever!).

I wasn’t always in the tattoo world. For about 20 years, I worked in IT — yep, a total accident. I actually studied visual arts in high school and dreamed of designing content for video games. That’s always been my thing: creating worlds, characters, and all the magical weirdness in between. But back then, Portugal didn’t offer any real path into game design, so I ended up graduating in Computer Engineering and building websites instead of fantasy realms.

Fast-forward a couple of decades (and several plot twists), and my amazing husband — who’s also a tattoo artist — saw my drawings and told me, “You should tattoo. You’d be great at it.” Turns out, he was absolutely right. A year and a half ago, I picked up a machine for the first time… and never looked back.

I’ve always loved pop culture, gaming, and especially anime — particularly the legendary 90s classics like Sailor Moon, Evangelion, and Dragon Ball. That influence shows up everywhere in my work. I was drawn to color tattoos right from the start, and my style naturally became a mashup of bright hues, bold characters, cute creatures, and a whole lot of imagination.

But what truly brings me joy? The connection with my clients. I love when someone brings me a new idea — especially the weird ones! I welcome every challenge, and I get a real kick out of turning strange or quirky ideas into unique, custom tattoos. Seeing clients return with more concepts and trusting me with their vision is the biggest compliment I could ask for.

So yeah — I’m Damiana: former IT geek, forever nerd, color tattoo lover, anime junkie, and someone who genuinely loves turning people’s wildest ideas into art they’ll wear forever.
